Human Rights Watch advances human rights worldwide. We investigate wrongs, expose the facts, offer solutions, and pressure those with power to respect rights. We collaborate with people claiming their rights, learn from partners, and engage the public. Human Rights Watch upholds the freedoms and defends the protections that promote dignity, equality, and justice.

In the world of technological advancements, the potential for change, progress, and impact has never been more apparent. Empowering local landscape leaders, conservationists, environmental NGO members, indigenous people, small landholders, farmers and ranchers with the missing resources they need to be more successful from both a climate and sustainable economic standpoint. Terraso enables local leaders to collect, store, manage, and share data, as well as to present that data through maps and visualization tools to inspire change.

Barefoot College International aspires to increase economic mobility by making vocational and educational opportunities accessible to women and girls from the most marginalized communities around the world. Through this mission we seek to ensure that every woman and girl has the skills and know-ledge she needs to be a catalyst for change to the benefit of herself, her family and her entire community.

The aim of our development projects is to improve the lives of war affected people worldwide. We go to places, where biggest aid is needed and reach the internally displaced families, which often can’t be reached efficiently by international relief programs. Our help includes food and shelter programs, healthcare, income generating projects, psychological and educational programs for war affected children, youth and adults.

Smiling Gecko is an aid project that is breaking new ground. By supporting economically and ecologically sustainable cluster projects, we have adopted a holistic approach to development aid, aimed at the long-term improvement of the life of people and communities in rural Cambodia.

Aiducation is awarding high school scholar-ships to bright and motivated young people in developing countries so that they can drive their communities forward. Access to formal and informal education is key to develop personally and contribute to the economic, political, and social development of society.

Right To Play is a global organization that protects, educates and empowers children to rise above adversity by harnessing the power of play. We work with children in some of the most difficult places on earth, supporting them to stay in school, to resist exploitation, to pre-vent disease and to heal from war and abuse.
