Ashoka Visionary Journey – a Field Trip to East Africa

An immersive changemaking experience

Marion, FCF’s General Manager, had the pleasure of joining a magical and immersive learning journey through East Africa, between Uganda and Tanzania, to see how changemakers are solving systemic issues in education, economic empowerment, and the aftermaths of civil war.

A unique chance to understand social innovation on the ground. Under the guidance of Ashoka’s Visionary Program Alumni Abu Musuuza (Uganda), Alex Wostry (Tanzania), participants were able to visit initiatives from outstanding Ashoka Fellows like Bart Weetjens (Apopo), Solomon King (Fundi Bots) and Joseph Nkandu (NuCafe) and many more.
